Global Community Partners Network
The purpose of this “network” is to accelerate community development globally. This includes all kinds of communities and nations, so that we see a bright future of communities of believers among all the peoples, languages, nations, cities, and villages of the world, resulting in transformed communities.
We will accelerate development by connecting and gathering those who are currently strategizing and implementing at a regional level (i.e., on a continent or in more than one country) and who are, or will be, mobilising and resourcing national development practitioners over the next 5 years. The network aims to do what we, as individual organisations, can’t do alone. We aim to help practitioners and organisations, which will go on to influence global development. We will achieve this through a variety of activities, such as encouraging one another, sharing and disseminating information, and collaborating on specific strategies and action plans.
We aim to focus on every region of the world and have a flexible approach.
We welcome further development of its values, strategies, and methods. We wish to invite into the network leaders working at regional levels who:
• Fully and passionately committed to pioneering.
• Team players, committed to developing partnerships with leaders of other organisations, able to empower different communities and nations.
• People of influence: respected, above reproach, with convening ability, and able to coach or mentor others.
• Have administrative capacity; be able to plan and follow-through, personally and via a team.
• Have endurance and long-term commitment.
• Have financial capacity; be able to directly or indirectly raise funds and assist others in finding project support.
• Have demonstrated commitment to community development
• This includes denominational leaders or those part of existing or emerging networks.
